Terms of Use

These terms apply when you access the Post Ascent website, applications, hosted service, API, or MCP tools. By using the service, you agree to them.

Private beta notice. Features, allowances, providers, and availability can change during testing. These terms will be reviewed before a public paid launch, and we will give appropriate notice of material changes.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these terms and meet the minimum age requirements for X and your jurisdiction. Keep your email account, devices, sessions, provider credentials, personal access tokens, and MCP authorisations secure. You are responsible for activity authorised through them and should tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.

2. What Post Ascent provides

Post Ascent provides tools for finding public conversations, monitoring selected accounts, writing and revising posts, publishing with approval, reviewing performance, managing relationships, synchronising work, and granting scoped API or MCP access. Features vary by plan, device, entitlement, region, and provider availability.

Post Ascent is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. X names, content, and services remain subject to X's terms and policies.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Use the service and connected providers lawfully and in line with their applicable terms.
  • Review every post, reply, follow, or other external action before approving it.
  • Do not use Post Ascent for spam, harassment, deception, unlawful surveillance, platform manipulation, or rights infringement.
  • Do not bypass usage controls, probe other accounts, disrupt the service, or attempt unauthorised access.
  • Ensure you have the right to upload, process, and publish your content.

4. Coach and recommendations

Coach output, recommendations, scores, projections, timing suggestions, and performance insights are assistive information, not guarantees. Generated text can be incomplete or wrong. You remain the author and decision maker, and you are responsible for checking accuracy, suitability, rights, and consequences before use.

5. Plans, allowances, and provider costs

Self-hosted DIY may require you to supply and pay for third-party provider accounts. Cloud Pro is offered at $29 per month or $290 per year and may include managed allowances for specified capabilities. Limits are protective boundaries, not promises that every allowance will be fully available. We may pause or route a capability when budgets, safety rules, provider limits, or service health require it.

Included allowances, taxes, billing terms, and any regional differences will be disclosed before a paid subscription begins. You will not be charged merely by requesting private beta access.

6. Your content and our software

You retain ownership of your drafts, ideas, uploaded media, and published content. You give Post Ascent the limited permission needed to store, process, transform, transmit, and display that content to operate features you request.

Post Ascent software, design, branding, documentation, and service code remain ours or our licensors'. Except where an applicable software licence says otherwise, you may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create a competing hosted service from them.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but third-party APIs, model providers, X, networks, operating systems, and beta software can fail or change. We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue a feature to protect users, comply with law or provider policy, control cost, or maintain the service.

8. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Post Ascent and request hosted account deletion. We may suspend or end access for material breach, security risk, abuse, legal requirements, non-payment after paid launch, or conduct that could harm users, providers, or the service. Where reasonable, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to export appropriate data.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the beta service is provided as available without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Otherwise, Post Ascent is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost opportunities, provider charges, or actions you choose to publish or approve.

10. General terms

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these terms without permission. We may transfer the service and these terms as part of a legitimate reorganisation, financing, or sale, subject to applicable law.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
